Najava za najavu Lost Cycle prikazuje FPS inspiriran BioShockom na letećem krstarenju u svemiru

Neon Castle’s Izgubljeni ciklus is an art-deco first-person action game set on a floating cruiser in space. The design is instantly reminiscent of Irrational Games’ BioShock series, only instead of fighting crazed humans hocked up on the blood of drug-filled little girls, it’s a bunch of crazed robots roaming and flailing around like they’re hocked up on a meth-laced case of motor oil.

The game is set in the 1930s on a cruise ship stuck in a time paradox. The people who built the space cruise captured technology from the 2030s and brought it back to the 30s, creating a paradox that contributed to an apocalyptic event in the 22nd century.

It’s the job of players to locate and acquire all of the artifacts that do not belong in that time period, and save the future you hail from in 2130.

So first off, it’s an interesting premise that you’re attempting to save the future by removing items from a time period that don’t belong there.

In order to retrieve said items you’ll have to venture throughout the space cruise, known as the Neon Castle, and solve puzzles to unlock each item and return it to its appropriate time period.

There’s a mixture of puzzle-solving and first-person combat, both of the melee and projectile kind. As you can see in the video above, you’ll have different robot foes to tackle as you battle aboard the flying cruiser.

The gameplay description definitely sounds like a cross between Obduction i BioShock.

Neon Castle also mentioned that the game will have a light upgrade feature as well, as you can sell the items you acquire from the future to obtain currency that can then be used to improve your character.

Naziv Izgubljeni ciklus is a tentative name and there are plans to change it to something else at a later date, but for now that’s the working title. The next big step is to finish up the core gameplay loops for the Unreal Engine 4-powered FPS and then work on getting the game onto the Steam store as an Early Access title.

You can learn a little bit more about the development of Neon Castle by visiting the ModDB stranica or by paying a kind visit to the Neon Castle website.
