Remedy and 505 Games have released kontrola on PC via the Epic Games Store, PS4, and Xbox One on August 27th, 2019. It’s only been a week, and the game is discounted heavily according to a recent report. As of right now, it’s unclear whether the game is experiencing a discount phase or if it’s performing in sales about as well as it is optimized.
According to websites that are all about video game deals and discounts such as mydealz.de, slickdeals.net, and publication site gamespot.com, kontrola has dropped in price.
The latter website, GameSpot, attempts to play off Kontrola je heavy discount as a new thing that publishers are doing this year (2019), but the recent title rides on a similar wavelength that Himna rode in late February at launch, where it was deeply discounted ubrzo nakon puštanja na slobodu.

For Labor Day, Target is offering 25% off select games and accessories if you select in-store pickup at checkout. That includes Control, which is already discounted to $51 (PS4) and $50 (Xbox One) but drops to around $38.25 / $37.50 with the 25% off deal.”
GameSpot pulls the woke Mortal Kombat 11 into the mix along with Vatreni grb: Tri kuće, except the latter title has not dipped as low as Kontrolirati:
“As the popularity of digital games increases, it’s clear retailers are doing what they can to make physical copies more appealing to gamers who might prefer the convenience of a download. From Mortal Kombat 11 to Fire Emblem: Three Houses, we’ve seen this pattern emerge in a big way over the course of 2019.”
It’s unclear at this point if this is just a “typical 2019 deal” regarding control or if this is the game performing poorly due to the Epic Games Store timed exclusivity, marketing, i drugi čimbenici.
