Remnant: From The Ashes Trailer prikazuje Yaeshina stvorenja i lokacije u nadolazećoj pucačkoj igri preživljavanja

Perfect World Entertainment and Gunfire Games dropped a new trailer for the upcoming third-person, survival-action game Ostatak: Od Pepela, which is due out on August 20th, 2019 later this year for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

The new trailer gives gamers a brief, near-two minute glimpse into the world of Yaesha, an alternate world to the apocalyptic wasteland of Earth. We see that the grassy world is teeming with life, ancient structures, weird valleys, stone temples, jungle forts, and mystical relics.

The trailer keeps everything very tame, as it’s mostly pans, dolly, and flyby shots of the alternate plane. There’s no combat, no player-characters in sight, and just a few NPCs roaming around. You can check it out below.

For a bit of context, Ostatak iz pepela is about an ancient evil derived from the Old Ones in alternate dimension that finds its way to Earth and practically wipes out all of humanity. Sounds a lot like Hellgate: London, eh? Thankfully, some savvy minds were able to utilize the ancient power and fringe science to open portals to new dimensions, all in hopes of finding some way to defeat the evil that has ravaged Earth. Players will journey through these alternate realities and outer realms in order to fight for humanity’s future.

There’s a more story-oriented gameplay trailer that showcases what the combat is like and some of the enemies and bosses you’ll face off against, which you can check out below.

Moram to reći Ostatak: Od Pepela has a pretty cool selection of bosses and enemies on display. I suppose we’re really getting some of that Darksiders flavor spilling over from when the art team at Gunfire used to be known as Vigil Games.

There also seems to be a lot of influences from Funcom’s Tajni svijet mixed in for good measure.

Now despite the very obvious looking MMO-style maps that have been on display across the YouTube channel, the game is actually only a three-player co-op shooter title. You and two other friends will battle through the enemy minions, fight bosses, and attempt to cleanse the land of all evil.

I can’t say for certain if Ostatak: Od Pepela will be a game worth checking out, but Gunfire has a solid record so far and the art-style seems passable enough. A lot of the appeal will depend on the quality of the gunplay and combat mechanics, as well as how streamlined the story and exploration is. If it feels too much like an MMO then it’s probably not going to go over well with most action-RPG fans. If it’s too linear and too streamlined, then it might turn away people who prefer a little more freedom and gameplay expanse.

I’m sure we’ll find out more about Perfect World and Gunfire’s Ostatak: Od Pepela as E3 approaches.
