NIS America announced that Studio Artdink’s semi-educational, globe-trotting exploration game, Neo Atlas 1469, will be available for the first time at retail on the Nintendo Switch beginning April 9th, 2019.
The game will be available both digitally and physically when it drops in the spring for $49.99. The game was originally announced way back in January of 2018, but it took a long while before Artdink was able to get the game stabilized and ready for a physical release on the Switch.
NIS America announced the game’s release date on December 31st, 2018 as somewhat of a New Year’s present for Switch gamers.

The game is a little bit like the old SNES classic Uncharted Waters, where you ventured about the world during the age of sail.
U slučaju Neo Atlas 1469, you’ll start off during 15th century Europe, journeying around every corner of the Earth in search of new discoveries, fleshing out the world map, and trading with local merchants.
The object of the game is to fill out the world map, which sometimes means going on the adventures yourself, or gathering reports from fellow admirals in order to follow-up on their discoveries. The hook is that how the world map develops will depend entirely on how you choose you to explore and where. This will sometimes mean dispelling myths, plotting adventures through the fog of war into uncharted territory, and attempting to discover treasures and secrets along the way.
