Yuji Naka, tvorac Sonic The Hedgehog, pridružuje se Square Enixu

Yuji Naka has disclosed on his Twitter account that he’s now working with another major company that is not Sega. Naka previously worked with Sega between 1984 to 2006, and is now moving on to work with Square Enix to develop “an enjoyable game”.

If you read the name Yuji Naka and thought “who?”, it’s likely that you know who this guy is based on his iconic work that still stands to this very day. To name a few of his games that he created or worked on includes Sonic the Hedgehog, Nights into Dreams, i rano fantazija Star igre.

His work was notable during the Sega Genesis days, however it seems that after his major 2006 departure from Sonic Team, 12 years later he has made another major action and that’s to join and help Square Enix develop “an enjoyable game”.

His part in helping Square Enix started in January or the first month of 2018, which can be read over below through the najava tweet.

There’s no word  yet on what this new game is that Naka and Square Enix are set to cook up. If the project that’s set to go into development is something ambitious and aims to be fun at its core I’m sure gamers will have no problem waiting to see what Naka  and co. have planned.

Something worth pointing out after Naka left Sonic Team in 2006, is that he founded Prope. This company developed several different titles that mostly revolved around the Wii, Wii U, and 3DS.

In addition to the above, it’s unclear if Naka will continue to help Prope or if he’ll put his sights fully on Square Enix now that he’s set to develop a new game. As of now, only time will tell what will happen to Prope.

If you want to keep up with Naka and his latest plans you can head on over to his Twitter račun.
