Beholder, Communist Horror igra kreće na PS4, Xbox One u siječnju

In case you missed the news from developer Warm Lamp Games, they’re working with Alawar and publisher Curve Digital to release a complete edition of Gledalac for the PS4 and Xbox One starting in early January in 2018. The PS4 version will be available on January 16th, 2018 with a 10% discount during the first week of availability, while the Xbox One version will launch on January 19th, 2018.

The Communist horror game puts players in the role of Carl, who recently took a job for the State to oversee the day to day operations of a local apartment building. Little does Carl know that he and his family have not been moved out to the apartment complex for easier living, but rather to work as State spies and report on individuals suspected of being enemies of the State.

Carl isn’t alone in this not-so-little venture, his wife and two kids come along for the ride. Carl not only has to upkeep the apartment but also install security cameras, rummage through the belongings of the tenants upon request, and call the State sponsor at a moment’s notice to turn in anyone who steps out of the line of a zero-tolerance government.

The game made serious waves when it first came out for PC last year. It’s an uncompromising, heart-wrenching tale about betrayal, duty, family, and morality. Do you put State-mandated policy before privacy? Do you put penalty before pragmatism? And do you put public duty ahead of productivity?

This isn’t one of those games where people are doing vile and evil things, this is stuff as simple as some tenants not having their papers in order, some people having their papers expired, some people having a book deemed illegal, and some people just trying to get more medicine than what they’ve been alotted. Now don’t take it that everyone you spy on that are deemed in the “wrong” are actually innocent. Some of these buggers have illegal weapons or paraphernalia that they aren’t supposed to have. It’s an interesting look into the nasty business of invading people’s privacy all for the sake of upholding state policy.

Wou’ll be tasked with making no easy choices in Gledalac, and if you didn’t get in on the action when the game was made available on PC, you can check it out when it launches on Xbox One and PS4 in January.

If you’re curious about picking up a digital copy of the game on PC you can do so from the Parna trgovine za samo 9.99 $.
