Postavka za Battlefield 2018 vjerojatno bi se mogla zadirkivati u DLC-ovima za Battlefield 1

Želim znati što Battlefield 2018 ili BF5 setting will be before EA and DICE announce it? Following a strong trend present in BF4 i Hardline’s DLCs, the likelihood of Battlefield 1's Turning Tides and Apocalypse DLC will drop some obvious hints as to what the next entry will be if the past is any indication.

obavijest: All of the information below is speculation and should be taken with a grain of salt. However given the heavy amount of Easter eggs and hints present in past iterations of Battlefield 4 i Battlefield Hardline, it is safe to assume that the trend of DLCs predicting the next installment will stay in Battlefield 1's last two DLCs, Turning Tides and Apocalypse, predicting the setting of Battlefield 2018.

EA and DICE, if you’ve noticed, enjoy putting Easter eggs in the Bojno polje series of games. Some of these tidbits range from dialogue making fun of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 snowmobile scene, to Gnomes out in a field (that scream when broken), a Peashooter which is a reference to Biljke vs. zombiji, a hidden Yeti in the mountains that screams when shot by a rocket, to an actual basket of Easter eggs in various Bojno polje igre.

All of the above sounds fun and cute, right? But they offer little next to nothing when it comes to weapons and what’s next in the Bojno polje series of games… or do they?

Battlefield 4 Hinting At Battlefield Hardline

If you recall correctly, back when Battlefield 4 first DLC (China Rising) released it contained a lot of weapons that could potentially double over as “cops and robbers” weapons. It is worth pointing out, though, that a lot of the weapons featured in the DLC were in previous games and would raise very little to no alarms that that would be the case for the game to come afterwards.

The only two weapons that offered a more domestic and less warfare approach to Battlefield 4-a second to last DLC (Dragon’s Teeth) that hinted at a cops and robbers approach was the inclusion of the MPX and the Desert Eagle 50 — DEagle in Battlefield 4 and Bald Eagle or BEagle in Bitka Hardline — with the latter being present in Battlefield Play4Free and the former being exclusive to both Battlefield 4 i tvrdolinijaškog. However you like to take it, the inclusion was a hint but a wildcard to the series of games.

Battlefield Hardline Hinting At Battlefield 1

Moving on to the three obvious hints that were made in Bitka Hardline that weren’t all that obvious back then, but in hindsight is more than clear to Battlefield 1-a announcement, comes Battlefield Hardline’s Betrayal DLC. The expansion added three weapons that happen to be the popular M1903 Springfield rifle, the Mammoth Rifle that sits well with the sawn-off (not sawed-off) shotgun in Battlefield 1 known as the Model 1900, and the big kicker of them all the Syndicate Gun — or the Lewis Gun.

The three weapons plus the HCAR (a more modern version of the B.A.R, which was present during the conflicts of WW1) only bolstered the prospect that the next entry would be set during the war to end all wars.

Battlefield 2018

So what does this all mean? Well, it means that the Turning Tides DLC set to come out in December will likely hold pieces to the puzzle as to what Battlefield 2018 will be like, and the same possibly goes for the early 2018 Apocalypse DLC.

If I had to give a guess, I’d say that the early 2018 Apocalypse DLC will be the “tell all” DLC. Given that it will be dealing with experimental weapons and unique guns only means that the devs can sneak in hints as to what the next Bojno polje title setting will be, but, then again, who knows? The clues could be visible right now or may never appear at all.
