Not much information circulates around Item_42’s žulj, but rest assured that the devs are working hard on the tactical FPS game. Just recently the devs posted up an update stating that they will show off the latest content that they’ve been working on. žulj is currently set to hit PC and has no release date.

Ako ne znate što žulj has to offer at its core the game is all about tactical maneuvers and taking out terrorist by using the world’s finest weaponry. The game is set in London where players assume the role of a special operative leader fighting in a modern re-imaging of the English civil wars.

Now that you are caught up on the basic concept of žulj, the latest tweet explains that the devs working on žulj weren’t able to participate in the London Is Unreal event due to the latest progress being made on the game. On the flip side, though, the devs will show off what they’ve been working on sometime soon.

I’m really excited to see more of žulj, the game looks solid, handles very well and looks graphically nice… especially to be an indie game. However, if you want to see more of the Greenlight product ahead of the devs upcoming stuff to show, a video by The Scanner Darkly giving a preview tour of the “Armoury” sits below.

Hopefully this game will bring back that feel the older Rainbow Six games offered, where enemy AIs were an actual threat due to tactics and cunning, as opposed to being little more than modern day target practice dummies.

Moreover, it’s worth noting that a playable demo will be coming sometime soon, which has an expectancy to show up Spring of 2017. The demo is said to be a non-crappy Early Access experience that won’t be stuck in development purgatory.
