Scorn, horor igra neće biti objavljena na Steam Early Accessu

There hasn’t been that much news or information surrounding the horror game by Ebb Software running on the Unreal Engine 4, which is better known as Prezir. Recently, though, there has been some news that surfaced regarding the progress the developers have made when it comes to releasing the first part of the game.

It’s likely that you’ve seen Prezir and waited for news to pop-up, but may have been met with a lot of disappointment when searching for the game given how sparse news has been. However, it’s easy to see why a lot of people might be excited for Ebb Software’s title, given that their method of developing the game reflects inspiration from the works of Rob Bottin and Zdzislaw Beksinski.

Not too long ago on parna Greenlight, Jedan od prezir developers came on to the chat/comment section to address a situation regarding the release date and had this to say to fans of the game:

“Scorn will not go the Early Access route, just a standard release. There will be a pre-order but only few weeks before the release.”

If you are not aware of the scamming and disaster stories that take place on Steam Early Access, I’ll simply say that it’s become a recurring event where developers seed out a game and never finish the product. In some cases they release it in Early Access only to add more broken content that you need to pay for, and then later they abandon the project with no rhyme or reason.

Instead of getting folks hopes up high after a failed kickstarter run, the team has been silent on progress of Prezir because they want to make sure that they deliver an actual game to fans so that they can enjoy a complete product, hence Steam — not Early Access.

As of now the game is still in development with a planned two-part release scheduled, which means that folks will get one part of the game that is set to release this year (2017), while the second part has no release date yet. In other words, players will be getting one complete game of Prezir with a second complete part following afterwards.
