Ultrakill, FPS u stilu Quakea priprema se za rani pristup 2020

Hakita Software’s Ultrakill is a lightning-fast, low-poly, 3D throwback to the Potres era of gaming. It’s all about blowing up bad guys, laying waste to everything in your path, and unleashing all sorts of mayhem using a variety of devastating weapons. The developer is currently working on getting the game in a finished enough state to enter into Early Access on itch.io and Steam at some point in 2020.

A new preview trailer was recently released for Ultrakill, featuring some non-stop combat, air-juggles, and the sort of classic 3D, arena FPS movement and momentum so that you always feel as if you’re in control and ready to lay waste to anyone unlucky enough to fall between your cross-hairs.

In some ways, the HUD and character models remind me a lot of Savršeno tamno 64.

The game has that kind of gouraud shading going on with the bilinear filtering that gives the game that classic 64-bit look.

Had it been situated next to Turok 64 or Žetva tijela on the store shelves, I don’t think it would look out of place at all.

There’s also a variety of different locations that players will visit, from placid outdoor temples, to boiling hot techno dungeons.

If you enjoyed the 3D FPS titles from the 1990s, but really preferred the high-impact seedrunning offered from games like DOOM, Shadow Warrior or Uspon Trijade, Mislim Ultrakill might be right up your alley. Just don’t get it confused with New Blood Interactive’s 1990s FPS throwback, SUMRAK.

You can download the prelude for Ultrakill right now, which is like the shareware version of the game, by visiting the Itch.io stranicu. The prelude comes with five levels, a secret mission, four different enemies, and three bosses, along with two difficulty settings and two different weapons.

Alternatively you can wait for early 2020 to get here and then pick up a digital copy when it enters into Early Access.
