Najava za kartašku igru Dota 2, Artifact, koju igrači apsolutno mrze

Valve released a new trailer for their upcoming card collectible game due for release in 2018 called Predmet za upotrebu. They announced the game during this year’s The International e-sports tournament. The game is supposed to be a card title not unlike Blizzard Entertainment’s ognjište, and it features barracks, lanes, and the typical fantasy combat one has come to expect from Blizzard’s title. Well, gamers aren’t so happy about the new game.

The teaser trailer is less than a minute long, featuring nothing but the logo for Predmet za upotrebu. You can check out the teaser trailer below and the rapidly increasing number of thumbs downs that have taken over the user rating for the trailer.

Even though there are no concrete details about Predmet za upotrebu, and the teaser does nothing but reveal the logo and that it’s a card game based on the Dota 2 universe, gamers hit it with more thumbs down than a Siskel & Ebert review marathon of Polly Shore and Adam Sandler movies.

It’s fast approaching 400,000 views as of the writing of this article, and already 15,000 downvotes have been cast.

Of the 18,043 total votes, nearly 87% of them are negative.

Why? Well, a lot of people think Valve is getting lazy and mimicking Blizzard just to cash in on the popularity of the CCG genre, mostly thanks to all the money-printing that ognjište is doing for Blizzard.

Gamers would have preferred updates or new entries for Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive or maybe something new for Pola zivota.

Some people ran to Valve’s defense, claiming that only non-Dota fans would be angry, and that Valve has multiple teams working on multiple projects.

Not everyone is entirely polarized about the news. Some gamers are taking a “wait and see” approach, because some games turn out to be more fun after having played them.

We won’t know exactly what the game is like until we get an official announcement with the whole kit and caboodle, including screenshots and an actual gameplay trailer. However, until that day arrives, you can either join in on the hate, join in on defending Valve, or sit back and watch from the comfort of your digital lawn chair, eating popcorn as the clown show unfolds.
