If you don’t know what’s under 4A Games’ belt, the company is best known for the Metro series of games. And on that note, the company recently made headlines for all the wrong reasons with the help of Deep Silver regarding the PC launch of Metro: Izlazak. As of now, Embracer Group — the parent company of THQ Nordic — has acquired 4A Games and plans on doing big things with the team.

Moreover, Embracer Group has acquired other studios too such as DECA Games, New World Interactive, Palindrome Interactive, Pow Wow Entertainment, Sola Media, Rare Earth Games, and Vermila Studios.

On the long list of acquired companies that are now under Embracer Group comes a blurb detailing what gamers and fans alike can expect from 4A Games moving forward as explained by Saber Interactive’s CEO and Director of the Embracer Board Matt Karch:

The CEO of 4A Games, Dean Sharpe, came forth to follow up on Karch’s take to discuss what’s in store for Metro goers:

Together we will continue to build on the Metro franchise and will focus on bringing a multiplayer experience to our fanbase. We look forward to building a new and even more ambitious AAA IP in the near future.”
