Phoenix Point će biti objavljen u Epic Games Storeu 3. prosinca, prvi DLC predviđen za 2020.

Snapshot Games is both the publisher and developer over the tactical turn-based game Phoenix Point. Once advertised to hit Steam, the devs pulled a sneaky one on gamers by making the X-Compoput igre a timed exclusive for the Epic Games Store earlier this year. As of now, the game in question is due out on December 3rd, 2019, for PC via the Epic Games Store.

I’m sure you remember back in March of this year when Točka Phoneix racked up $765,948 in crowdfunding from backers through Fig, right? If not, after that went down, Snapshot Games wanted to lose trust in customers by sucking from the Epic Games Store hose in exchange for more money and Phoenix Point being an exclusive on the Epic Games Store for a year.

Despite fan discontent and backlash bubbling up from the depths to headlines on major publications, it looks like a sizeable amount of people are still interested in the game due out early next month.

The above information comes from the forums section on snapshotgames.com, which reveals the game’s due date via the anti-consumer client.

On the forum, a Snapshot Games staff member by the name of “UnstableVoltage” had this to say about the release date for the upcoming strategy title:

“We’re excited to announce that Phoenix Point will be available on PC via the Epic Games Store as of Tuesday, December 3, 2019, at 11 AM Pacific Standard Time! We’re also announcing today that we’re moving away from our Early Access editions of the game to the digital retail editions starting November 8, 2019 at 10 AM Pacific Standard Time.

While you can pre-order the retail editions on the Epic Games Store or on buy.phoenixpoint.info after that date, you will not be able to get early access to Backer Build 5 after that point. So, if you want to play Backer Build 5, you have to complete your purchase on or before 11:59 PM Pacific Time on November 7, 2019.”

The devs that caused controversy over the turn-based game expect the first DLC, Blood and Titanium, to release in early 2020. Four other DLCs will release in intervals throughout 2020.

I should also note that anyone who backed Phoenix Point before March 12th, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. PST (which includes all Fig backers, regardless of tier) will receive the Season Pass that includes all five DLCs.

Lastly, while the PC version of Phoenix Point will land on the Epic Games Store on December 3rd, 2019, Steam sometime in 2020, and on GOG whenever in 2021, Xbox One owners should expect a 2019 release as per phoenixpoint.info.
