Greak: Memories Of Azur, ručno crtana platformska avantura dolazi 2020.

Mexican indie developers Navagante are working on a new side-scrolling, hand-drawn, platforming adventure game called Greak: Sjećanja na Azura. It’s being published by fellow Mexican outfit Bromio, and is scheduled to release in 2020.

The game recently received its debut trailer, and I have to say that they’re off to a really strong start, working on a game that looks like quite stunning even though it’s recycling concepts that have already been somewhat perfected by studios like Frozenbyte.

What I mean by that is you take control of three playable characters, all siblings, as they attempt to make a perilous journey on their way back home. It’s not unlike how each of the three playable characters in Trostruk have their own unique abilities and skillsets to help aid them during specific segments in the levels. Greak will work in a very similar manner, where sometimes you’ll only play as one character, and other times you’ll alternate between the three main heroes, as depicted in the trailer below.

As you can see, this isn’t a Flash-animated game. They aren’t recycling sprite rotations from Photoshop or wholesale copy-pasted frames to create the movements and combat. The game has a charming art-style that reminds me of Ubisoft Montreal’s Dijete svjetla, just with a more minimalist tone to the palette variety.

Even still, each of the three playable characters – Greak, Adar, and Raydel – are given cartoon-quality attention to detail as they jump, run, float, and fight their way through a challenging series of levels that will require teamwork in some segments, and solo intuition in others.

Slično kao Trostruk there will be segments where you’ll play each of the characters who will need to use their abilities to traverse over obstacles and obstructions.

The gameplay mixes in melee-based combat when you’re playing as Raydel, while Adar and Greak will rely mostly on evading enemies and relying on their agility to get around the stages.

It looks promising so far and hopefully it makes its way to the Nintendo Switch down the line because it looks like it could be a real hoot. You can learn more by visiting the Službena web stranica or keep an eye out for Greak: Sjećanja na Azura kada bude lansiran 2020.
