Mada Smrt nasukavanja isn’t out yet, and the game is a ways off from release, gamers are already creating a lot of fan art, machinima, and theory videos based on the little we’ve seen of the game. Well, one gamer in particular decided to remake the original Smrt nasukavanja trailer as a PS1 title, and I have to say… if this were 1998, it would probably be the talk of the town.
The two and a half minute trailer utilizes old-shool, low-poly models and 16-bit textures from back in the 32-bit age of gaming, replete with pop-in, jaggies, and a low internal resolution. The trailer was put together by YouTuber Hoolopee, and is running in real-time. Check it out below.
The trailer has already garnered more than 500,000 views after it was published on July 2nd, 2019. There’s a steady fanbase circulating Smrt nasukavanja and chewing up any new media they can find, even when it’s just a PSX-style remake of the original 2016 E3 reveal trailer.
The comment section is also filled with some clever jokes about deleting Final Fantasy VII save files and Gran Turismo 2 simulation mode data off the memory card to make room, while others joked about picking up the game as a late 1999 Christmas gift.
Just for reference, you never delete your Gran Turismo simulation mode data because completing those license tests were an absolute nightmare. Final Fantasy VII data? Sure, why not. Plus, anyone who was a real gamer back then knew they had to have a completely separate memory card for Gran Turismo games because they took up so much space.

I have to admit, Hoolopee did a fantastic job capturing the nuance of the original trailer while keeping it looking like a PSX game.
Now the real task is recreating the Smrt nasukavanja trailer from E3 2018, which would require a ton more work and a lot of planning and accumulation of assets.
As for the PS4 version of Smrt nasukavanja… you can look for the game to launch on Sony’s system starting Studenog 8th, 2019.
