Australian developers Overgrown Studios have announced that Ljudi s farme is currently on Kickstarter, seeking $37,000. The game was in development for a year and a half before making its way to the crowdfunding circuit, where the small indie team hope to secure enough funding to finish development on the farming RPG and get the game up and out for a December, 2018 release. If all goes well they also have plans on porting the game to the Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One.

Dakle, ono što je Ljudi s farme and what does it let you do? Well, it’s a game about growing crops, raising livestock and building relationships in an alternate reality based on 1920s farm equipment.

The developers wanted to rekindle the kind of slice-of-life farming antics that Natsume made famous back in the day under the Mjesec žetve (sada Priča o Seasons) oznaka.

Ljudi s farme is being powered by the Unreal Engine 4, and is a 3D farming sim featuring 50 crops, livestock and pets – including cows, sheep, dogs, cats and unicorns – along with 30 characters to interact with and various quests to take on. You can check out the pre-alpha gameplay video below to give you an idea of what the team has built so far.

The game takes place across Softshoal Island, where you’ll attempt to make a new life for yourself after drifting ashore following a violent storm that ruined your boat trip.

Like most other games in the genre, such as Moje vrijeme u Portia, you can customize your character, interact with NPCs, and build out your farm exactly the way you want.

As your crops grow you can then sell them for cash, buy more livestock, and give presents and items to NPCs to complete quests.

Slično Sakuna: Riže i kiše, you’ll have to till the ground, plant the crops and nurture them until they’re all nice and grown.

Slično kao Stardew Valley, you’ll also be able to venture out into the deep interwoven cave system and gather resources, acquire ore, blacksmith new equipment, and upgrade your farming gear.

A fishing mini-game is also present along the rivers and lakes spread out across Softshoal Island.

You can also build up relationships high enough to propose and get married, just like the typical Mjesec žetve games. Kids in Ljudi s farme won’t be useless, though. You’ll be able to have your offspring help out around the farm.

I didn’t spot any overt politicization so it seems safe from the kind of social engineering that companies like EA, Blizzard, and Bethesda have been engaging in lately.
