Nihon Falcom decided to secure the services of XSeed Games for the PC port of Ys: sjećanja na Celcetu. This is likely a good sign for gamers who have been completely unimpressed with NIS America’s recent localization efforts, which have come under heavy criticism, especially after the butchering that NIS America applied to the Western release of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa DANA.
In fact, NIS America – after apologizing and overhauling the lokalizacija Ys VIII on PS4 and PSVita – ended up passing off the PC port to another company since they couldn’t properly optimize it.
Well, Nihon Falcom’s Japanese branch didn’t run to the wearied-roped well for a second helping of a bucket full of dirt. Instead they opted to give Ys: sjećanja na Celcetu to XSeed Games, allowing them to properly port the title to Steam on PC.
Izvorni Ys: sjećanja na Celcetu came out back in 2013 for the PlayStation Vita, which is practically a bed-ridden system that’s barely hanging on in the gaming hardware hospice at this point. Nevertheless, if you game on a real man’s system, a true power rig, and have pledged fealty to the Glorious PC Master Race, you’ll be able to enjoy a right proper port of Ys: sjećanja na Celcetu later this year for PC.
XSeed Games did right by gamers by unveiling the PC port via a live-stream. You can check out the near two hour unveiling with the embed of the Twitch stream below.

Gamers asked questions in the chat while the localizers answered them. The two hour stream also showcased Ys: sjećanja na Celcetu in action, giving gamers a healthy dose of the isometric JRPG.
The press release doesn’t spend a lot of time rolling out details but the most important parts of the port were outlined, including unlocked frame-rates for PC gamers, fully customizable control bindings, full mouse support, enhanced full HD support along with a healthy selection of HD resolution options for the display output.
XSeed also improved the basic visuals for the game, so PC gamers won’t have to suffer the eye sore that PS Vita gamers have become accustomed to. You can learn more about Ys: sjećanja na Celcetu posjetom official Celceta website.
