The latest open world game to explore feudal Japan comes Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Tsushima, which is a game that sees Japan battling the Mongol Empire. The PS4 game is currently in development and has no release date.

One of the more exciting games during Sony Paris Game Week 2017 comes an upcoming action-adventure title that is published by Sony Interactive Entertainment and developed by the ones behind inFAMOUS.

That’s right, developer Sucker Punch announced Duh Tsushima for PS4 during the PlayStation Media Showcase, and following the announcement comes an overview of the game:

“Godina je 1274. Samurajski ratnici legendarni su branitelji Japana – sve dok zastrašujuće Mongolsko Carstvo ne napadne otok Tsushima, izazivajući pustoš i osvajajući lokalno stanovništvo. Kao jedan od posljednjih preživjelih samuraja, dižete se iz pepela kako biste uzvratili udarac. No, časna taktika vas neće dovesti do pobjede. Morate ići dalje od svojih samurajskih tradicija kako biste stvorili novi način borbe – put Duha – dok vodite nekonvencionalan rat za slobodu Japana.”

The title is said to have no “way-points” and will let players explore a vast land of Tsushima during the time when the Mongol Empire invaded said land. I’m not sure how much you will be able to do in this game, but I do know from the devs that it will center around action and stealth elements.
