Nintendo Switch nadmašuje PS4 na NPD tablici prodaje u srpnju 2017

The NPD charts have revealed that the shortages Nintendo suffered from March to June are finally over with. The Nintendo Switch beat the PS4 in the July, 2017 charts according to a brief report by GameSpot.

They don’t reveal the numbers, but it was up from June, where Nintendo lost to Sony and the various PS4 incarnations.

The Nintendo Switch hardware helped push hardware sales up by over 29% compared to July, 2016 during the same period.

Prema Venture pobjedio the hardware was accompanied by strong software sales, with Splatoon 2 taking the number one software spot, followed by Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogija i Grand Theft Auto V.

In fifth place was Legenda o Zelda: Dah divljinii Mario Kart 8 wasn’t far behind in seventh place. Switch exclusive ORUŽJE was in 17th place. You can check out the full software chart below for the top 20 titles.

The asterisks represent that the list isn’t counting any digital sales or Battle.net sales.

There were worries that the Switch sales may have tapered off after the initial launch hype, but it was discovered that Nintendo was suffering from shortages due to Apple commandeering some necessary parts from manufacturers for their own iPhone line. Now, we learn that after the manufacturing shortage has been resolved, the Switch has gone back to dominating the hardware sales… for now.

The real test will be both August and September, where the software well runs dry, and no big first-party exclusives will be released. Nintendo’s September fate will be in the hands of Ubisoft’s Mario + Rabbids: Kraljevska bitka.
