E3 2017: Genesis Alpha One omogućuje vam stvaranje svemirskih staništa i borbu protiv vanzemaljaca

Genesis Alpha One is the upcoming roguelike, first-person shooter, base-building space sim for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. It was one of those hidden games announced during E3 most people missed out on because they were too busy salivating on all those other games like We Wuz Kangs: Origins, Dad of War, Diversity: The Conferencing i Your Wallet Is Our Destiny 2.

A gameplay trailer interspersed with a little bit of cinematic wonder for Genesis Alpha One was made available, showcasing Team17 and Radiation Blue’s upcoming title, giving you just over two minutes of a look at the game. And if I must say so myself (and there’s no one here to stop me from doing that), I think Genesis Alpha One looks somewhat impressive.

Genesis Alpha One seems to be a little bit of Supnautica, malo Prirodni odabir i malo FTL fused into one.

You get to create your very own space habitat as a means of survival. Not only that but you’re also responsible for filling it up with plant-life so you can generate oxygen, establishing research labs so you can build new stuff, and even clone creatures to help you out during battle.

The main objective of the game is to take the USS Genesis on a mission to save humanity, which is on the brink of extinction. The object is to find a new planet and populate it.

Along the way, however, players will encounter various hostile aliens and obstacles seeking to impede progress.

The game is running on the Unreal Engine 4, so you can obviously tell it looks decent enough. I don’t know how well it’s going to perform on the Xbox One or PS4 in real-time, but it seems like it might be a real treat for PC gamers.

No release date has been set yet, but you can keep abreast of progress by visiting the official Team17 website.
