Jockey Rush očajnički želi biti Road Rash i Battle Jockey

Strategic Designs recently released a new racing game for PC called Jockey Rush. The game is a Kentucky Derby-style racing title where players will pick a jockey and attempt to out-maneuver and out-race their opponents.

The game is on Steam at the moment for $19.99. During its first week on the store you can get it for 30% off for only $13.99. It hasn’t received many user reviews (only one at the moment) but it features achievements, multiple races across various derbies in the U.S., U.K., and Australia, as well as a Battle Mode, where players will duke it out against other riders in a combat-inspired race mode. You can see what the game looks and plays like with the trailer below.

I originally thought that this game was a joke, but it turns out that it’s real. It has full jockey stat tracking, performance charts and trainer data. What’s more is that this game was actually voted through by the gaming community to appear on the Steam store. Yes, it managed to get through Steam Greenlight.

It seems to share some similarities between the old Road Rash games and that classic SNES title Borbeni džokej. For those of you who don’t remember what that game was like, there’s a clip below you can check out courtesy of YouTuber A&C Games.

Kad bolje razmislim, Borbeni džokej was actually kind of intense. The four player versus modes really kept things exciting.

Nažalost, za Jockey Rush there are no multiplayer modes, so you’ll have to settle with beating the horse bits out of AI opponents.

They don’t really explain much about the gameplay features on the Steam store page, but they do promise some “experimental” Oculus Rift support, so feel free to check it out if you have a VR HMD.

You can barely learn anything more about the game by checking out the Parna stranica trgovine ili posjetom Službena web stranica.
