Yooka-Laylee odgođena za prvo tromjesečje 1. dok novi E2017 video stiže

Playtonic Games had once noted that its duo platformer, Yooka-Laylee, would come out sometime around October of this year for PC, PS4, Xbox One and the Wii U. As of now, that has changed and new the release window is said to be set for Q1 2017. While we wait for its release, the devs sent out a new E3 trailer showing off some gameplay.

That’s right, if you can’t wait until the first quarter of 2017, a new video will help hold you off until more information regarding the game will arrive during this year’s E3. And speaking of the gaming convention, the devs will showcase some of the buddy-up platforming between June 14th and the 16th.

I’m sure this will give folks a nice look at how far the game has come along in development, and the devs might even have a booth for folks to try the game out. However, if you don’t know what Playtonic Games’ project is about, players will be assuming the roles of the duo Yooka and Laylee. Traversing worlds like Mario 64, players will encounter a vast amount of collectibles, finding secrets, and meeting new characters along their 3D adventure.

This now brings us to Playtonic and its most recent announcement about the game’s release date…

"After a lot of soul searching and knowing through dialogue with our fans that they value quality and polish above all, we’ve made the difficult decision to lock the release of Yooka-Laylee to Q1 2017.”

“While we felt confident we could ship the game in October as originally planned, the team has decided that it would like to add a few extra months’ polish to our schedule. Ultimately, this will allow us to release a better game to the thousands of fans who’ve supported us throughout development".

The note went on to basically say that they know that a lot of fans will be disappointed, but in the long run it’ll pay off. But, enough on the delay, you can check out the most recent video published by Team17 showing the game off.

If you are excited about the 3D adventure game that plays out like a classic 1990’s platformer, namely Banjo-Kazooie and Mario 64, then you will be able to snag it early next year. The game will still be available for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Wii U during the first quarter of 2017.
